AML Shake

User research, wire framing, UI design, user testing
Project Overview
During my time in Whyyy I worked on the product AML Shake, which was supposed to make complying with anti-money laundering regulations easier for companies.
My Contributions
As the only designer in the team I was responsible for user research, wire framing, mock up, prototyping, user testing and presenting.
Mock up of the customer KYC page.

Process

User interviews and desk research
Before developing the antimony laundering tool we did interviews with employees in law firms to determine the needs and the gap in the market.

Desk research was also done to investigate the market of KYC (know your customer) and AML (anti money laundering) tools. For knowledge on the law a professional from the market was continuously consulted.
Wire framing and discussing technical implications
The process of wire framing was very iterative so the discussion of the technical implications would become concrete and a lot easier.

During bi-weekly meetings the technical implications were weighted against the user experience and the law.
Presenting and getting feedback
During meetings with various law firms we received feedback on the functions and perceived usability of the tool. The feedback was used to iterate on the designs as well as for business purposes.
